We made this lil stirfry...

I knew we had some shrimpies so I Bing'ed that and got this mediocre recipe off of All Recipes.  But with a few modifications we had ourselves a luffly meal!  Even after taking suggestions from the reviews and cutting the soy sauce in half, it was still pretty salty, but thankfully we both like our food pretty salty. 

I added cayenne and used fresh garlic instead of powdered.  As Anthony Bordaine would say, "Don't use that powdered, artificial shit."  Well, he may not have used those exact words but seriously - why use powdered or dried ingredients when you can use the real thing??  I also added some stir-fried red bell pepper and blanched broccoli.  We steamed some mixed wild rice that we prepared with chicken broth instead of water that we put the whole mixture over the top of.  And VOILA!!

I fell in love this weekend...

...with Seattle. I can't say enough how amazing it was to spend over 24 hours on the water, gazing at my new home from a completely different perspective. Waving at the fellow boaters, sharing the knowledge of our fortunate circumstances.
